Although I do not like FWD cars as performance cars, there is a place for every car in the performance department. Will it have the potential and be as fast as an 8 cylinder vehicle? Most likely not. But within it's own class, it can be raced. I know some very fast and competitive FWD cars at the AutoX. It's a challenge to set a FWD car up right, and drive it in a manner which won't understeer and will still be fast around a track. Those who can do it a very good drivers. Most others just have fun racing FWD, and that's what the "performance arena" is all about. Personally, I like a RWD setup and the things you can get the car to do with it, but that's me.

Again, your bias and prejudice cloud your opinions, but hey to each their own I guess.

Who are you to make this rule? There are plenty of civics that have stock bodies and would smoke you 1/4mile or around a track.

a stupid statement. there are also many fbodies that could smoke your hypothetical civic.

I think if we look hard enough there might be a ford pinto that can beat some of the faster civics or Fbods. There are too many cars out there and too many modded as well and anytime you say there are civics faster then Fbods your setting yourself up. Its all preference and money.

ha ha, an Si wouldn't pull an ls1 that bad, the video was 30 seconds long and it took the Si almost the full 30 seconds to reach 111 mph!

Because talkign to him about anything that isnt domestic means its a automatic crap car in there eyes and they will never see it anyway.
