Ive been looking to test my car against a stocker for a while, I got my chance to yesterday. We both stopped at a light after he followed me for a few minutes, we talked a little about what we had, Him: M6, cat back, lid. Me:3.73, LTs, full exhaust, hypertech tuner, lid, ls6 intake A4. We didnt talk about racing though, but we both kept it in 1st until 20mph. Then he kick it, he was already half a car in front on the coast and by the time i hammered it he was a full car ahead. I was really impressed with my car as well as my decision to keep the A4 because a soon as he shifted to 2nd i had my half car lenth back and pulled him until the top of second and ended with a car lenth. These cars are bad ass, even the smallest work pays off. I killed a stock C5 4 month ago, but a just thought he didnt know how to drive.

In my opinion putting 3.73 gear in an A4 will even up the race with a M6 if not beat it everytime, its just a matter of time before the M6 slow shifts, and the hesitation between every shift puts an advantage to the A4. I've heard several people say they would buy a stall before gears...i dont have a stall but i can tell you the gears are worth every penny.
