Thats probably a stock C6 Corvette, definitely no 580HP.

If that Vette did have 580HP, it would have walked the GTR like it was going backwards. Think about it: A 580WHP 3300lb Corvette vs. a 420WHP 4,000lb pile of garbage. Thats not even a race.

    I agree

I agree aswell, the GTR dynos closer to the 470whp mark on a dynojet and 420-440 on a mustang dyno.

I think the ZO6 should have been racing a real car.... like a B16 Civic hatch.

Obviously that was no 580hp Z06 and even if it was stock, with a decent driver, 505hp vs. 480hp in a 500lb lighter car would include a pretty good a$$ beating...

How does a GTR dyno at only 10HP less than its rated at the crank.

It's underrated from that factory... believe it or not.... like the LS1.

Wesman, did you get the VTEC solenoids working on your car yet? I can help tune them if needed?

    For true.

Last I heard GTR's were dyno'ing somewhere around 400-420WHP, which is still a high number for a sequential trans/AWD car with only 480HP at the crank.

Now the number is magically 470WHP?? WTF?

Threw the VTEC solenoids in the trash. I found out you don't need VTEC with 346 cubic inches

for a car with awd, 470 WHP is ALOT of crank hp. that is major underration. is that a word? underration?

underration: the act of under rating. see ls1.

it is rumored on ricedouthondas.com, that if you were to VTEC an engine over 5.5 liters it would cause the earth to spin backwards. it's science...

Damn, so you going to try the Nissan VVTI setup to boost the output of your top end so you can rev out to 10000rpms?
