    Torque Specs?

    does anybody know the torque specifications for LT1 motor mounts and tranny mounts? im getting kinda tired of hearing my motor or tranny clunk when i nail the throttle and hit bumps/holes. just wanna do some tightenin' so i can end this nonsense. its a 97 TA, A4. thanks.

    Ill dig up the torque specs but are you sure your mounts are in good condition? are you using poly mounts or original rubber?

    the mounts are original, they seem straight.

    the mount will usually be broken if it's banging around. Have you physically inspected the mount?

    Theres really only two ways the it will be bangind around. The mount is loose as hell (like mine was when it was banging around) or the mount itself is broken.

    There really is no in between.
