The manual must have just been poorly driven, 12.2 is a nice time though.

i dont think that is the case this time....the main advantages that manuals have had over autos in the past have been faster shifting and the fact that they are usually more efficient in getting power to the ground....
well the autos now even in stock vehicles are shifting faster than any human possibly could....also its getting to where they can put down the say hp to the wheels as the manual.....the guys are care and driver are really good drivers....if the manual could out perform the auto they would know it

i agree the autos have come a hell of a long way! and its a beast either way BUT i have seen just as fast numbers for a manual too so either way its fast.
