    Pads, rotors and sfc's

I put ebc red stuff pads, centric rotors, ss lines and umi sfc's on, now that I got all the BS from the wreck taken care of thought I'd post my thoughts on this stuff. Have put 150 miles on it.
I hear a lot of people complain about noise from the red stuff, I get some the first time I back the car up in the mornings, sounds like a bus, but after that they are fine no noise. My Dakota does the same thing and it still has factory brakes on it. They do stop way better than the brakes that were on it, head thru the windshield kind of stopping. Very nice surprise the first time I stopped hard. Still havn't stopped as hard as I could, want to give them a few hundred more miles. I'm very satisfied with these pads so far.
The rotors, well not many miles on them to tell how they are going to wear, I can still just barely see the machine marks on them. They do look nice with the black coating on them and it saved me from painting them, just have to give it time and see how well the coating and rotors hold up.
The SS brake lines are on but I can't tell a difference in pedal feel, old lines were fine, just figured what the hell can't hurt.
Best for last, the Umi sfc are great. Best thing I've bought in a long time. Wish I had done this a long time ago. I can't beleive the difference they made. Shut up most of my rattling. They give the car a completly different feel when I drive it. I guess the best way to describe it is the car feels planted to the ground. I also seem to "feel" the motor a lot more than I used to, I liike it . Instal was easy, took more time to jack the car up and move the jack stands around. If you don't have any sfc yet GET THEM!
All in all I'm happy with everything.
Time for shocks and springs now, the car really nose dives bad during hard braking, wish I had some cash.
