mr2 turbo??
What do these things run stock? and how much do they weight?. Might race one but dont know much about them. This one has things done to it he said he's pushing 220-250 hp? My mods are Air lid, KN filter, tranny cooler, Diablo tune, SS hood, NGK tr55 plugs, MSD wires, free mods, Dyno max exhaust. Thanks in advance!

Stock a MR2 Turbo pulls about 200HP if its the older gens and there pretty light. If he means 250 RWHP it should be quick but top end youll start pulling.

Not sure what year you're running but the 95' MR2 has an 2.2L DOHC I-4 cyl with 135hp stock. A spooled one will put up good numbers so watchout for this one at high rpms. He's gonna have you by at least 1200lbs lighter. The MR2 is an off the shelf racer. However the 90s' models were known have "unpredicable" handling characteristics. Where not recommended for novice drivers. In the wrong hands down right scary but in the right hands well you get the pic. Good Luck!

If it's the "spyder" models the 2004 had an 1.8L I-4 with 138hp DOHC. 0-60 just over 7 sec. Weighs between 2100lbs-2215lbs depending on trany type. Also the MR2 is a "midship" engine car. You may have some trouble with this one if it actually has the stated hp in your post. Good Luck and bring the Soy Sauce!LOL Just in case.LOL

A stock motor MR2 Turbo, with bolt ons and upped boost is easily a mid to low 13s car, if driven right. They weight around 2600lbs. depending on the model and options. They should pull very well in the mid range, but your power advantage will start to make its presence in the top end.
