ive gone close to 180 in my car. bout all she's got. . .the faster/quicker debate is not a good one. i dont see an f-body going any faster than 180 w/o mainstream undercarriage design. . . .
2000 red ss: >2" drop, koni adjustables 'n 275 s-compounds all way around, giant brakes, dynatech LT's, borla catback (no plate), t56, tubular everything, HARD TOP, caged, "stock" heads 'n a mean cam. -2* front camber.

Stock- 2002 Camaro
I know if I had been that guy in the 360, I'd been pissed. Dam Chevys
I would say that I would never trade my car for a 360, but I would be lying!
I'd take the 360, sell and buy a vette!!!!
That was a good kill though, plus it's hard to find a Ferrari much less one that will run you

quick=the time it takes to accelerate to a speed like 0-60 or distance
fast= highest achievable speed
a good example is a drag time slip a guy went 13.33 @ 108mph
quick=13.33 and fast =108

White/Gold- 99 T/A sold/67 Firebird
Im sorry but your example makes no sense what so ever...
quick 13.33 Fast=108
thats not true because the car goes faster then 108mph..
so lets say that a car has no low end power and pulls in the higher gears and runs a 12.86 @108
but another car has low end power and no top end so it runs 13.33 @ 108n]
by ur example you show nothing because we all know that both cars can get over 108
and 13.33 @108 is slowww must be an example of a mustang lol

the numbers used were fictional numbers.
simply stating that 13.33 was how quick it went through the traps and 108 was how fast. of course both cars will break 108. but will both break 180? so again to say that one car is faster through the 1/4 or highest top speed. was the race to a certain speed or distance? one car may accelerate quicker to it's top speed but is not necessisarily the faster car at top speed. if you car's top speed is 170(fictional number), it may be quicker to 170 than the Ferrari but if the Ferrari's top speed is 186(spec number) then the Ferrari is the faster car but not the quicker car. so if you really want to find out who is faster run them to the top with no distance limit and see who goes by who. if you want to see who is quicker pick a distance or mph and whoever get here first is the quickest. puttin lower gearing in a car will make it accelerate quicker but not faster on the top, put higher gears and go faster on the top but not accelerate as quick. a car geared to run 1/8mi will run out of gear and reach it's top before it hits the 1/4mi even if it has tons of power. a drag race on th trach doesn't nesessarily decide which car is fastest top speed but it does tell which is quicker through a measured distance. the car with the highest mph(fastest) doesn't win the race. the car with the lowest time(quickest) does.Last edited by willys srt8; 03-19-2009 at 02:50 PM.

hey you're the one that wasn't getting it and you probably still don't. quite frankly i was honestly trying to explain it. i guess i had it right by judging your initial snide comment. but just because you don't get it doesn't change the fact. so i'll stay with my first post and end with yes a Ferrari 360 is still faster than a bolt on Camaro Ferrari 360 top speed ~186. what's yours again?
