Thats the 2.0 global ecotec that GM always talks about. I just(wednesday) traded in my 2006 Saturn Ion Redline for my current car, and it sure was a quick little guy. from 04-07 the RL's and Balt SS's were 205 hp/200 tq weighing around 2900 I think-now no more saturn, and the chevy is turbo'd. My RLhad the competition package which had an LSD up front-and they ALL came with 4.10 gears and fuel shut-off set at 6500, which essentially made 1st useless.

Too bad I didnt really get to do much to the car, wanted to keep it longer. GM's stage 2 kit was 42# injectors, a 2.9" pulley and retune for 7000 rpm redline for $550+install, covered by GM to bring it to 241 hp/218 tq. Plus people made their own combos....60# injectors, 2.7" pulley, new valve springs and a good tune you could use 100 octane and push out 265-270. Some guys on the boards are pretty confident theyll take down the 04-previous stang GT's
