Ok couple of questions.

I am thinking about maybe getting an STS turbo system, does anyone happen to have one that could give me some info on them and what type of gains they have recieved.

Second, is the slr performance chip a good chip to get for my car? Anyone have a preference to what chip they think works the best, and what hp gain did you recieve after installation.

dont get a different chip if you get a STS. i would just get a dyno tune after the turbo install.

Stay away from the slr performance "chip" thingy - probably just a resistor that ties into the IAT sensor circuit - supposed to add 50 HP or something? Do a quick site search for slr chip, seen posts about it before.

your best option would be to switch to a 97 pcm and get a mail order tune. the 96 pcms will not accept a tune from hp tuners, but the 97 will. It easiest to find one that has the same tranny as you, and just get it tuned for your gears, then anything else you want. you will see far better gains from this then a chip. texas speed and performance offers a mail order tune for v6's as well as pcm for less.
