Import killed!
I've posted in Kill Stories for years off and on so I figured some of you that remember me will get a kick out of this. I'm wondering now if LS1.com will hate me more? Or less? Maybe Wesman will actually leave me alone a bit? =)
I bought some domestic muscle yesterday
1997 GT
Car has 100k on the chasis
Leather interior
Some funky ipod radio that I can't figure out (Guess I'm officially old)
PI head swap
Cam (unknown, I was told it was the biggest they could go without notching the pistons)
Trickflow upper intake mani
Long tubes
off road X pipe
Cat back
3.73s
JLT cold air
unknown MAS
75mm T-body
03 cobra wheels
Xcal3 tuner tuned by Dave Guy at SGS
Fresh paint
Hope you all have been doing well in these hard financial times. I know I haven't posted a while (Haven't had anything fast enough to kill something else!).
Here's to posting up some kill stories! I have to say it will definitely be fun having a fast import and a fast domestic in the Harem. You really gain respect for both sides when you own both.

Congrats on the purchase. Haven't posted on this website in a very long time myself, as I found myself getting back into 3rd Gens. Can't believe you mentioned Wesman lmao, are you guys still going at it with each other? Jeez, it feels like I never left lol....

You and I need to meet up some day man, I think we'd get along famously. I should have my evo done by spring.

not bad i heard that the PI swap 4.6 are pretty quick.

It doesn't seem very slow. Need to race something to know where it stands. Too cold to go to the track and the rear tires are really crappy. Solid rear end with 3.73s is a lot of fun in comparison to the evo though =) It's like night and day but both are fun in their own right.

i know they are faster than the 99-04 GTs. the PI swap bumps compression up quite a bit.

I don't really like that generation Mustang, but something about yours (color, wheels) just looks really nice. That's a sweet ride you got there.

Evo will have a complete forged 30 over motor. T67 stage 5 turbine, GSC S2 cams, etc etc etc.
I just dyno'd the car today (Nice to have friends). Made like 300/300. I'm happy.
5 grand I paid for this car. Unbelievable for the money.

nice car for 5 grand!!my opinion, the 94-98 mustang were the best looking mustangs, just slow as crap from the factory.my 97 gt ran 14.90 in the quarter, good race for a v6 f-body! how about a ls1 swap into a 95 mustang gt?

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
we have an evo that lives in my apt... never talked to the guy but its missing the spoiler, has a wicked cammed out sound... and the license plate says something to the effect of 66mm turbo... thing is sick and sounds great but he never gets on it so i never really hear that puppy spool up

Sweet ride and welcome to the "bright side" (as opposed to the "dark side"). LOL!
Your setup on the Evo sounds sweet -- that should be a blast when your build is finished. As least you have the sweet sound of a tastefully modded Mustang to meet your performance needs for the next few months! Great deal on a sharp looking car!2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.
