I drove an TBSS with minor mods (intake, exhaust, and trans upgraded) and those jeeps would spank me all day long. I got my AWD SS into the 13.8's and thought that was fast, those sons of bitches stock run low 13's. They are definitely no joke! A friend of mine runs a cammed TBSS with a bigger stall and he can FINALLY beat one. So beware... they are awesome trucks! The only saving grace for the TBSS is that it can actually tow!!!

those srt8's rock, but the mileage sucks! I'd rather drive my car daily... and they are so low you can't get off road.

Had I known about the Jeeps before I bought the wife's tbss, woulda been a no brainer. Other than perhaps the tbss rides alittle softer, the Jeep is miles ahead in pretty much all aspects.

I know my dad says if he would have seen the jeep be for the tbss he would have got it instead also...i got my dad to drive my jeep one night against me in my T/A and its a A4.the jeep was stock then,i had all my bolt ons then on the t/a,from a dead stop to 160 prolly.the jeep had me till bout 140 then i started pulling and kept pulling until i was bout 4 cars ahead i had to stop the rear end of the car started goin side to side felt like i was gpin to wreck.but now the trans am doesnt stand a chance on top end most minor bolt on cars dont..i did lose to a kennebell cobra on top end at 145 by a car, thats the only one so far.the guy couldnt drive either.but now its time to mod the ls1 some more.when i get some money tho,man times are hard rite now

I absolutely love mine. It's a blast of a daily driver. No, it's not the fastest thing on the road by any means. But I have gotten more than one look from unsuspecting people with it.
To the OP, nice kill! Your car is strong as hell from a dig for sure!Last edited by DJ Red Barron; 02-02-2009 at 09:37 PM.

Is it exactly the same motor as the new challenger? I'm positive it has the 6.1L too.
