got ripped off at the dynos!
hello guys. I went to a performance shop here, and I tottally got ripped off I dialed 315 at the wheels. Im somewhat satisfied, but the A-hole didnt give me a reciept or a dynosheet. So I dont know the curves, or the ratios real unsatisfied. waste of 90 bucks.

If its on there computer they should have your runs saved and all they would do is print it out. Ask them if they can print it out for you.

Dial ask and have them print! tell them you'll pay for the paper and ink if you have to.

I guess you get what you paid for, there may be a reason he didnt give you a graph. 90 bucks is cheap, way tooo cheap. You may have only gotten a 90 dollar tune. does the shop have a reputation? good or bad?
Tuned many lsx's?

I think he's saying a 90 dollar dyno run, no tune involved....
Thats cheap just for a run on a dyno with no tuning whatsoever? Just to mark your hp/tq rating?

most of the shops around here will usually do 2-3 dyno runs for 75-100 bucks. no tune though

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Seems like something you should have said after the pulls to the shop-guy before you paid though.

how many runs did you get for that $90...?
if you only got one run, then you got took. typically you get 3-4 runs for that price...

We charge $100 to dyno a car, minimum, you can take 1 pull, or up to 3 pulls or one hour, whatever comes first, so you didn't get ripped off.

I don't understand how you guys can figure he got taken so bad. It sounds to me like the only thing he didn't do was get the printout which is as much his fault as the dyno shop's. All of this can be avoided if he would call them as they might still have his run on their pc and could just print him a copy. I would wonder if there's something else to the story. How long were you there and was there an opportunity to do more pulls?
