    '87 Mustang 5.0 Plenum emblem?

    On the fox body Mustangs (79-94) with the 5 liter, there is a round circle inset on the front driver side of the plenum. Did some Mustangs originally have some type of emblem there?

    No. I think it is a freeze plug or a hole that is covered from casting. There is one on the other side too.

    Yes. I think we are talking about the same thing. I've looked at pictures on the web and so far they are all blank there. The reason I am asking is my boss has an original low mile '87 GT he bought new and seems to remember there being something there and wonders if it fell off.
