    trans am door panels

    have any idea where I can get ebony doors panels for a 2000 trans am? I have cracks in both

    Pontiac enthusiast had an article on repairing & pulling the staples that cause the stress. If you find some not cracked yet on ebay or elsewhere, do the staple removal or you'll soon be in the same boat. Really, the epoxy repair is amazingly clean. You have to look close to see the crack after it's fixed.My vote is pull staples & repair. Good luck!!

    agreed ... epoxy repair looks great ... i just had my driver's door done about a month ago and it's flawless ... i even got them to touch up my paint on that side and blend it all and it looks niiiiiiiiiiiiiice

    you can try hawks third gen, or ebay. Also check out your local salvage places you never know

    i have come accross info about the staples in the past. I bet it worse in the heat. If i can find panels i'll give it a shot.

    Thanks,Ebay has a couple. I hope to find some new ones or aftermarket replacements. I would like to restore to a new look but I may end up getting used and touching up.

    The body shop I normally use did it - johns auto body in imperial, mo ... But any reputable body shop should have a very good idea of what you're talking about when you describe it to them - it's common. As long as they epoxy

    you may be one of the lucky ones. Mine cracked a couple years after i bought new. i do live in high heat though
