    Coolant bypass lines/plugs LS6 Swap

One more question on my LS1 ->LS6 intake swap.

Does anyone have pics of the coolant bypass lines/plugs on top of the engine block?

I would imagine I remove the old lines, plug the holes in the back and hook up the new lines in the front to the TB..

Thats correct, remove the "X" shaped LS1 coolant lines and the LS6 will just go across the front.

I don't have any pics right now. Currently in the middle of H&C swap...but once I start putting it back together I can try and post up pics if you still need it.

Yea just seat them down and then there should be a screw to hold them down. One on the top rear of each head.

The old screws holding the old lines in place i'm guessing would work (same thread pattern into the block)?

Yea, they should work...thats what mine looked like when I removed my intake. (I had a shop do actual swap from LS1 -> LS6 intake years ago, but the screws looked the same front to back when I took it apart last wkend)

Alrighty..I think I have a good handle on this. I'll most likely tackle this on Saturday, and pending arrival of new gaskets finish it!
