Catalyst Monitor Not Ready? Secondary Air ?

I recently failed inspection because of the following:
Catalyst Monitor Not Ready and Secondary Air Not Ready.
Anyone have any ideas on this? The shop told me it could be because of the vehicle battery dying and not being driven it reset the computer and is not reading yet, so they told me to drive it 100 miles and come back.

My current setup is Dynatech Long tube headers going to Dynatech Powercats which then flow to a borla cat back exhaust. Does anyone know what these two error codes could be from and also how to fix them? The check engine light is not on, and does work.

    Thanks

set your DTC to "no error" but leave the SES enabled for them in the tune. Follow the GM drive-cycle to help get the readiness tests completed.

how to what? Change the items in your PCM file or do the drive cycle? Google for gm readiness test, the PCM DTC stuff in most all of the tuning suites is under diagnostic.

be ready- a drive cycle could take awhile to complete. find a road with little traffic in case you have to slow way down of make stops. a drive cycle is where all of the monitors can and did run

Never tried it but have seen posts where people got the readiness tests to complete with one try, and not following it to the letter. Problem is if you don't have access to a scanner you won't know until the emissions test.
