There is a table in the tuning software that allows you to "turn off" error reporting. Each parameter that can trigger the SES light has its own unique settings. When removing the secondary air system, rear O2 senders, and such the final step is to change these settings.

I finally got around to putting the cowl panels that I bought last year at GM Carlise to replace the ones an auto glass place buggered up for me. Hardest part was getting the wipers off w/o a puller !! Looks a lot better.

Hey 98redta, I thought about 4:10's as well. Just wondering what that did to your rpm's ? In 6th gear, 65mph is like 1800 rpm for me,, what does yours read now? Just curious.

I honestly haven't looked lol. I will say I used to get26- 27mpg on the highway and now I get 22-23. And get 15mpg in the city where I used to get 18.

Yeah, I have an M6 and stock rear ( I guess that 3:42s ). I was trying to find out from 98RedTA what 4:10's would do to hiway RPM's. I once took a pic of my speedo, at 88 mph I was right at 2 grand. these things really cruise with no effort !! I'm not sure what the rpm's are in a A4. Since it's not a DD anymore, I'm thinking of a more performance oriented rear gear at some point. 3:73's or 4:10's ...can't decide. Icy here in Md. today,,, T/A still covered

I hear ya on the weather, mine won't see any action until April. At that time I'm hoping to replace my rear end with a stronger unit and with all the research I feel comfortable with 4:11's with my M6. I mostly street drive and hate highway driving but looks like rpm's in 6th @ 70 run around 1900. Maybe a Auto guy could chime in on their gear selection and drive ability.
