The car is still stored away in the garage but I did just order the Magnaflow quad tip exhaust and since DMH sucks at life I had to order another set of cutouts so I went with the Race Ready Performance dual cutouts. Can't wait to get them in, my Dad will take my car into get them installed and it'll be ready when I get home in July.

Scored a brand new NOS complete console and insert for $280 from a local Craigs listing. Guy was selling for his kid who had collected parts but just got rid of his Z28 while stationed overseas. Up on my shelf with the other NOS bits and pieces in my collection. This is my retirement plan.

I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning up my door panel repair (for the cracking issue). then I moved on to replace the gear in the left headlight motor, which I never want to do again lol, then its on to replacing fuel injectors.

    which one?
    which one?

Actually took tonight off because I spent the last 4 nights laying under my hawk, polishing by hand & machine, the bell housing & the smooth surfaces on the tranny. Sure is looking brighter, cleaner, mirror like. Have decided that the driveshaft is next.

Spent most of the day finishing my Kee audio install.. Nice crisp sound...Quality stuff, would have been nice if it was more plug and play! However worth every penny and Ian over a Kee very helpful and responds very quickly great to work with...

I gave the TA a nice clean up, filled up the gas tank, pulled out the t-tops, then headed for OC MD. Beautiful day, nice ride down. If it wasn't for the state troopers, it would have been a much nicer cruise.

Tested the fuel pressure to verify that it is still bleeding off with the new pump installed. Called and ordered a new regulator as the only options are that, a leaky injector(s), or a hole in the fuel lines.

Got a good start on the intake swap

    Found this along the way.

So now I have to add this, $87 for a Ls6 valley plate...well at least I've tracked down where oil has been coming from

Be extremely careful on notching the block. I mean be super anal on covering everything that can drop metal flakes into the motor or on the cam. Otherwise you'll be pulling a motor.

As long as a towel is stuffed in the valley and shop vacced afterward and during the removal I don't think it's nearly as scary as people like to make it out to be.
