took the TA to mapco this morning on the way to work...got a bizzzzkit and a mtn dew kickstart. Guy in a white WS6 "i've always had a thing for white WS6's" pulled up and I talked to him for a few minutes...care was bone stock inside and out. Told him about the site tho...

As soon as I brought her home, we did a few upgrades too. LCA, Panhard Rod, and SFC's. Sway Bar will have to wait.

What all was done to it?

Modified for the double din head unit for my new kenwood dnx-690. Girlfriend is happy now since my old Flip screen is no longer blocking ac vents and now I have bluetooth and can talk hands free. She always hated me driving a 6 speed and talking on the phone.

Double D Mods did it for me. Dennis the owner worked with me the entire time. Changing up how he normally handles the order. Shipped me the head unit seperatly since my old one broke while he modified my stock bezel. I even agreed to pay extra shipping and he never charged me.

2 weeks! I dropped my 71 Formula off for a paint job last June (2012) and I still don't have it back. I just picked it up Monday and am bringing it to a new shop. Long story there. I'm about to do the same with my engine. Dropped that off sept 2012 for a rebuild with $1000 deposit and about $500 worth of parts. Still don't have it back yet.

Took the carpet out for good. Now I need to figure out what to coat the interior with that is both durable and looks ok. I'm thinking truck bed coating or rubberized undercoating.

Got the new headers in and dual cutouts if its too loud then you're too old!


Its actually pretty damn loud, anybody have a clue what a LS6 cam sounds like? People claim my car has one

Got a lot done today on the car's projects. Racetronix fuel pump is installed. Won't know if it works till I get the engine back in. And there is just enough of the wire harness to be able to make it to my alternator relocate kit.

Well what are the odds that a damn, hot as hell, flake goes into my ear. Shit hurts like a mofo. My mistake for not wearing ear plugs while cutting the break bracket that mounts to the LCA's. Had to remove one side so that it will work with the relocate kit for the LCA's.

I drop it off on Tuesday to the engine shop.

Also having the heads look at and valves checked.


Also I'm having my tabs getting trimmed down some for the UCA for the 8.8 rear. Hope I get them back tomorrow.
