    I did the wire mod today. Wife got off early so I can't do my next project.

    Yes, I know I need to clean her. That's my 3rd project this weekend.








    There is something that is so scary just before you start cutting a big ass hole in your car. I swear I heard "Don't Fuck this up!" from someone and I was alone in the garage.

    No set procedure... just get it running, top off the fluid, engage all the gears manually before checking the fluid (this will be done a couple times), and then some easy short distance driving with frequent stops to check for leaks and to verify the fluid level.

    I felt the same way. Huge improvement getting rid of that mass of wires though.

    Installed the driveshaft, torque arm mount, starter, exhaust bracket, and O2 senders. Pulled the transmission pan to check things over one more time and connected the exhaust again at the rear axle. Have 6 qts. of fluid dumped in the trans, just need to install the auxilliary cooler and I can fire it back up.
