I can't say for sure in other states but here in Missouri if a shop takes a car into it's care custody & control they are responsible for it. And this is coming from a insurance agent. I've seen several shops try posting signs or have contracts that they have you sign that say there not responsible. But like I always tell them and anybody else that's not how the law works. Here they are required to carrie garage liability that covers them in someone else's car and if they don't there still accountable. Now whether they carrie physical damage is up to them but they can still be held accountable for that as well. If you know anybody that gets into a problem like this at the very least have them contact there state insurance commission and they can help them explain there rights.

Well....that is a fucking nightmare...damn....

Ill tell u one thing besides for that mess.....

He cant tune for shit....at least on ls1's.....

I was running cam only with a 3500 stall and 3.23 gears.....he tuned it and on a road trip doing 55mph i got 8 mpg.....If i gave it brakes hard and didnt give it gas it would die....if i went in reverse..I had to hold the brake and hold the gass at the same time....no chance of it not dying without it....

If i took a slow turn and gave it any brakes without gas it would die......I almost got in 3 different wrecks like that due to lost power steering and power brakes.....

Absolutely horrible....thats all with no ac btw....I can imagine if the ac had accually worked how bad it would have been....

This is why we have the internet and performance forums where if you are not satisfied with the service of a shop you can completely destroy their reputation at the click of a button.

The most ironic part is he's still in business, has work, and from what I hear, never paid a damn thing for that Vette they destroyed.

That is so fucked up on all levels. Both cars. I would be in big trouble if he did that to my car. Have to say I would not have taken it well at all.

I guess this guy doesn't really care about his reputation, eh? Not a good way to do business, IMHO. I can't believe that he is still in business. I'll make darn sure he never touches any of my vehicles. Oy vey!

Some people just do not do their research in the interweb before they hand the keys over I guess.

Just make sure that almost no gas is in your tank that your check gauges light is on when you bring your car in the shop.
