heads cam swap
early december doing a H/C swap on my 2002 z28 heres what i got
Ls2 heads W/Dual valve springs,and ultra light rockers, tourquer v2 cam, comp cams double roller chain also installing methonal injection to help with the nitrous system and 42#injectors and 255 fuel pump, long tube headders any supporting items i will be needing so i can get them now? any tips? New lifters since the heads will be off. LS7's are only about $120 a set. Get a pushrod checker ($20) and set up a dummy lifter and measure PR length. .060-.090 preload is what you shoot for on LS7 lifters otherwise use manufacturers specs. Make sure you PROPERLY set the wipe pattern for the new rockers. Otherwise you will see increased valveguide wear. Good luck with the swap

hardened 7.4 pushrods,melling oil pump would be almost a must cause the oiling systems are shitty as fuck, definitely a good tune ?? and maybe some gears depending on auto or 6spd......headers exhaust lots of factors to get full potential out of teh cam ..my buddy had same cam with stock heads and intake with full boltons and 4kstall and 373's and is runnin 11.49 consistantly all day
