In console-garage door opener

got really really bored for about 10 mins and...took apart my opener to solder in some leads for a button...

you should share how you did that! garage door openers are the biggest pet peeves of mine

just soldered 2 wires to the switch inside the opener...its really very simple to do

im doing it this weekend this is the cleanest coolest thing i have ever seen cant wait man good job and idea

thanks! ive been wiring up LED's all week, so i figured this would solve my opener problem. the damn thing always didnt work, or fell off my visor. not to mention it was fugly.

i thought about my cig lighter, but as much as i use it for ipod/cell charging, it wouldnt be practical.

I'm going to the Shack tommorrow and rigging my opener.....might even do my wifes Van...Tahoe already has a place for opener

yep...the switch cost me like $2.75 and i had the wire/soldering stuff
