TURBO ALL THE WAY! though i dont really think rearmount is the best. there is really nothing wrong with them. but for the money you spend on a procharger kit, ie, 5k or more, (which is rediculous) you could build one hell of a nice turbo setup that is capable of more power. (especially if you do your own work). Prochargers are nice, but way over priced. just my opinion though.

I prefer turbo's since upgrading boost is way cheaper. But S/C's work well too. And would probably be more controllable on a track.
But the turbo cars drive more friendly if your not nailing boost. But when you nail it, it is all or nothing. I would not try to fab my own S/C bracket. I've turbo'ed 4 imports and S/C one. If you know what you are doing. And don't mind craigslist turbo parts. And have mad welding skills. You might make a front turbo kit for $2000.00 If this is your first turbo. cheap is never good for FI. if you dont have someone who knows FI to help you through the whole build, even if you do, i would steer clear of trying to get by as cheap as possible. cheap is never a good thing. though it can be done but for someone with limited knowledge you would be better off making sure it is done right as opposed to cheap. it is never to anyones benefit if you happen to skimp out on one little piece that could possibly destroy the whole build to the point that it has to be started from scratch. just make sure you do it right. around here sts is garbage
