Making 335s fit on an F-body (pic heavy)
So...a few months ago, I found this guy in Texas that was selling his widened Black ZR1s. They started off as 17"x11" wheels and he had them widened to 13". I like being unique and I figured that since he had gotten them to fit on a T/A, I could do the same. Also, I already had Black ZR1s on my car, so I wasn't really changing the theme of my car.
275s vs 335s:
Inside of the wheel:
Wheel Spacer...I didn't want the wheel to stick ridiculously far, so I decided to have it tuck further in. I cut the studs off the spacer because I'm running 2.5" ARP Wheel Studs, and they go all the way through the spacer, and have enough threads for the entire lug to tighten onto.
Bump Stop (and some more) ground off...there was about a quarter inch worth of space, and was too close for my comfort.
After inspection to make sure that the inner fender wasn't part of the rear frame, I decided do some cutting. I cut about half an inch worth (the ridges made it thicker than the metal actually was).
Ahhh...lost more room now:
Some POR-15 to prevent rust...I'll be spraying some rubber undercoating on there when the paint dries.
Now for the good stuff...
What do y'all think?

Thanks all...the guys in LS1Tech are giving me crap about them sticking out too far...oh well
Yes...$50 for both fenders at my local body shop.
I bought the four set of wheels (two 9.5"x17" and 13"x17") and tires from the guy in Texas for $700 shipped. Not sure how much the widening costs...I've heard $200 a wheel, but don't quote me on that.

Fat ass always looks good. The only bummer is the cost of new meats.

I will NEVER do a rolling burnout with these on...I'll change them out for my cheap 275/45/17s if someone wants a show.
