You know of wbodystore com ?

Installed the fixed tensioner, ordered a catch can and p/s cooler, went for a ride and ended up getting rained on. :(
It would be my luck GTP's prediction would come true on the tranny, the rear would explode, a rod would poke out the side of the block, blow a tire and hit the wall, and something in my pocket would rip the seat. Its my luck....haha
made my own ws6 lower lid/fixed my ac leak/added some power steering fluid...thats it lol
Yeah, but I'm more of a fan of zzperformance com. They seem to put more research into their productions. Wbody store has some things that are cheaper, so if they're the same part on both sites, then I'll buy from them.
The deals I'm shopping for though are on used parts...looking for a Gen V blower, intercooler, cam, etc...this is going to be a $3500 timing chain replacement
Trying to keep the SS stock, but i probably will get the cheap strut tower brace and u bend pipe from wbodystore. zz performance does have better engineered parts,i agree.
Hows the t/a?

Yesterday*
De baffled the hood; today's errands are looking for stripping to seal it well.
Changed the oil and currently chasing down a rattle in the exhaust.
Well, I'd think so yeah. I mean, as it stands, part of the reason it's not considered a ram air in my book is because it isn't sealed. Air is being sucked from the engine bay from that 1-1.5" thick space. I'd think sealing it off makes it a cold air somewhat. Debaffling it just gives it a more direct flow and "rams" the air as much as physically possible. Whether or not the dynamic aspect of it ever makes a difference, the straighter path allows for better breathing regardless I'd assume. I don't know hwy they didn't seal it from the factory, unless they didn't want no baffles for a water hazard and thus thought it needed more air? I wouldn't think sealing it without debaffling it would suffocate it though. No way.
I think you're correct about water issues with no baffles. Mine have been out for years, usually sealed with an original bgra kit and has been driven in torrential iowa rains with no issues ever. I think gm was just being cautious.
Most likely. Mine isn't sealed yet but I'll fix that soon. Just gotta go out and actually get something o.O.
Attempted to wash it and let it sit, but then forgot I had to go donate plasma today so... 80mi round trip drive. Wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't happen to run into a construction area with no detour when new tar was being put down -.-.... heard rocks and crap hitting the wheel well and god know what for a solid 2 miles. Suuuucked.

Finally got my SFCs installed. Thanks to Speed Inc. for fitting me into their busy schedule!
Ant71130, Nice ride! I also like that Grand Am in the background. I love those Grand Ams with the ram air hoods :)
