I have A4 with 373 gears and a 3200 stall converter. Driveability is great. I think for a DD, cruiser car, long highway drive to OC for cruising week, and every now and then track car, 373's are the perfect gear for an A4. As for the M6, I think for the same type of activity the I do, 411's are the perfect gear. This is based off of what several of my friends have done in their F-body's. Just my personal preference and experience.
Replacing fuel pump, clutch, motor/trans mounts and the axle seal over the next couple days.
^^ Good winter projects!
Been working my way through some stuff over the past few weeks...
New plugs, wires, and fuel filter are in.
EGR was removed last night and the block off plates are installed. I honestly think the car runs a little better now that its off the car...I think I had a small vacuum leak where the EGR tube went into the top of the intake.
This is the intake plate I got...looks great on the car. Very happy with it.

Well found out my pinion bearing is shot today. Never fails as soon as u think its all said and done you find something else.
Thinking it may be time for a 12 bolt or 9 inch. Starting to check pricing with brute speed and mid west chassis. If anyone else knows of a good place to go through let me know.
I also have a leak and rotational noise that can't seem to pinpoint. I had the car in the air a few times had paJeff in the car but still can't find it. I think I'm going to try for a new rear this spring, it's a huge expense for me but I feel any money spent repairing the 10 bolt is wasted money also I can't seem to find anyone in my area that works on rears but one guy who never returns calls!!! So I took the wife for a ride in the fall and let her hear the noise and told her that this is Bad very Bad and it should be replaced....I'm sure it worked as she said I should be ordering my parts soon:xfingers: Now I'm thinking I would like to finish my concrete driveway instead.....decisions decisions
