Don't worry about stroker's bro, and you don't really need a S/C to achieve the desired results that you're looking for (unless you're just looking for dyno numbers). High ten, low eleven second, naturally aspirated daily drivers can easily be achieved with the LS1 F-Body's. My Iroc has been running in the 10's in street trim since I finished her, and believe me, you don't want to go any faster than that on the street.
Careful selection of the valvetrain, suspension and gearing, and you'll be in the deep elevens in no time. ;)
