I HAVE A 98 CAMARO Z28, With mac, headers off road y pipe borla catback, slp pulley, slp cold air kit, fast 90mm intake with 90mm tb, comp cam 232-234duration with 595-598 lift intake-exhuast, yank 2800 stall, 323 gears, free mods, valve springs push rods, stock mass air flow, it dynoed 370 hp rwhp 368 ft ibs torque with 99.5 degrees and hummidity 14%, uncorrected on a dyno jet dyno does this seem right i was hoping for at least 390 what do ya'll think thanks for the advice
My buddy has 85mm t/b,prof. prod. intake,stock injectors,LT's pacesetters,224/224 cam with comp.918's,SLP lid, ported MAF,4000 stall with 3;73 gears with a tune. He did 372 hp at the rear! The dyno at one of the shows had some problems getting a reading because of the converter!! With that cam, and without a tune, it really isnt bad!! Get a tune!! That will wake your car up! You could make 400 easily!!
If you want to see 390 RWHP uncorrected, just wait till the winter and then redyno.Quote:

PS....if you dyno'd in/near Gulfport Ms, I can assure you that your humidity was nowhere near 14%! :)

Also, the numbers sound fine. Stall can eat up some power, plus the heat.

running with the devil did the tune and thats what the temp was in the building 99.5 and shows humidity was 14% going by my dyno sheet thanks again
Stick with your stock MAF.
Just trust me. The aftermarket ones aren't calibrated as well, and will require a tune.
what about one from a 6.0 truck it is a 85mm and iam bringing it back to get retuned thanks again
Stocker is best. Good for 500+ HP.

Not atypical for a dyno. The hygrometer in the machine is obviously out of calibration, because as you know, southern Mississippi in the summer time is HOT and HUMID!Quote:

Agree, stick to the stocker and have it ported/polished!!! Aftermarket units are really tuff to tune!! Really hard to re-map fuel/air!
