Just pick up a used pair of FRC's for $50 off ebay.
I'm going to have to fill in and paint 'em, but still :nana:
I used some foam tape I found at the hardware store for the top and sides, and on the bottom I used a black piece of heater hose. 4 small screws to hold it in place, it still looks good. The foam, however, needs to be replaced and I may put some more heater hose on instead. It sorta springy and seals decently.
Sure. Just as much as a non-baffled.
FRC?

Took the cover off and sighed.
Forgot it got alittle dirty from last week, seriously debating paying someone to clean it for me. Have to pick someone up for a wedding later and the Jeep is on my shit list. Probably just needs quick detailer, but still not in the mood.
<- Lazy ( = wedding + now work today)
Am I the only person who thinks there car is never clean?
Took a nice 800 mile cruise on Sunday/ Monday to Carmichaels, PA and back to Kearny, NJ. Averaged 25mpg's doing 75-80 all the way out and back. Got "lobster-ized" on the way back, drove all 400 miles with the top down. Paying for it now, though. :mommy: Just turned 49,300 on my return. Going to HATE goin over 50K! Probably won't use the car much now til the TA Nats. Got my room reserved, just waiting for the Goodies from the show. Unless there are some nearby cruises to go to ( Staten Island, Wrong Island, eastern PA, etc.) :yup:
finally sanded the SLP off and painted my Lid. NOw just need to find a good bird decal for it.
Tires balanced, right rear tire leak fixed. Putting some gas in it.
Thanks man, much appreciated. Fond of yours as well.
Not even close, I feel that way 2 hours after I attempt to clean it.
Or draw one, had my girl do it and it turned out awesome, check it out. :)

Fair enough, but yeah it was pretty cool. I found two pictures on the computer, and she traced them off the monitor once they were blown up, then measured the lid and put it on a bigger sheet of paper actual size, then just drew lightly and colored it with a paint marker. Looks sweet. Throw a clear coat spray over it and you're good to go! :drunk2:
Anybody know what I can use to fill in the Corvette on FRC's?
will it hold up to the heat cycles or not crack over time?
how would JB weld bond to composite plastic?
I also planned on using the heat tape.
