No at 500:1 there is zero smoke or smell.
ok i guess i should try it out and does it have to be the syn. 2 stroke marine oil?
You want TC W3 rating. That is for water cooled marine 2 stroke engines. Valvoline/Pennzoil/SuperTech at Walmart.....your after the TC W3 as it has the add packs/viscosity we were looking for.
OK Sarge I'm going to try this. BTW do you know the capacity of the Camaro's fuel tank? I want to get the mix right.
ok i will look at advance tomorrow if i can get time and go
16.8gallon
Thanks guy's
are there any side effects if you stop using it after any X amount of treatments?
Well I bought a gallon today at wally World so we will see how it goes. I bougt the Super Tech brand it was 8 bucks and some change. I looked at the Penzoil brand but it was 23 bucks a gallon. I hope the cheaper one works as well as the other ones.
Sarge - I like the idea of this. Everyone knows that 2-stroke motors run strong. I have always wondered if the oil in the fuel had anything to do with it (better lubrication, more octane or whatever)
I was one of those guy's who thought that Acetone gave you power gains. After 1 year of testing and Acetone exploding in my face on 1 hot summer day (due to the vapor build-up in the injector bottle) I found no gains in efficiency or power and quit using the shit. At least my wife can use the leftovers as a lifetime supply of nail polish remover (2 gallons)!
Going to get my Penzoil today. Thanks for all the info and testing Sarge.
Well...at the end of the day the Fuel Power and Lucas UCL work....but you have to look at a cost to benefit profile.....2 stroke oil is a gas additive....has excellent lubrication/cleaning properties....so we know what it does.....burns clean.....what we had to test and test is the ratio of the mix to achieve optimum benefits. The 1oz to 5 gallons of gas has returned very clean spark plugs/upper cyliner as well ( piston top etc.) and smoother idle and acceleration.....past the point of "butt dyno" bullshit.....it is pennies compared to dollars of the others I have been using with better resluts. Just do not over mix....stick with the ratio I outline.....more is not better :)
The oil is in. I got a friend at work with a newer car that has the average MPG setting on the dash and im trying to convince him it wont hurt the car :)
Put royal purple in mine Thursday,TWC-3 4 oz and have in the trunk for future fill ups, can't wait to see the results. Will post as soon as I burn about 3 tanks. Thanks Sarge:cheers:
Good man! We have over a collective 100,000 miles and 6 months testing already. Checked the cylinders ( top end piston and walls) spark plugs etc. All cleaner than they were when we started....all reported ( including myself) smoother idles and acceleration and a increase in MPG. So nobody is a guinea pig here guys......
