No I put it on the inside of the door, like the outside skin of the door panel. I removed the moisture plastic and reached in and pressed it on. I also did this to the speaker cubby holes on the sail panel too.

It comes off the exhaust manifolds into a y pipe that goes into the muffler as a single inlet tube. Here you can have a muffler that continues as a single outlet or splits it into 2 outlets that then go to the tip. If a car has true duel exhaust it is an aftermarket system.

When they came from the factory the 98's WS6's had single exhaust while the following years they came with dual. Over time many ppl have made them dual pipes. If you were trying to keep it in pure stock form then it should be with a single outlet.

Look like one. The paint chips are kinda expected with a 20 yr old car. You don't want to see mine. Seems decent price, 4th Gens have been coming up in price a little lately. Price could also be how much demand in your area they have. 9 yrs ago I got mine for $6500 USD but it was a...

Ask him for the RPO code sheet. Located on drivers door. It should have WS6 listed. If not then it's not a real WS6. Filler panel could have had the paint faded over the years, but there should be an outline in the plastic. most ppl get a vinyl graphic to replace it. GM has greatly...

I guess I didn't take any of the hatch area. I do remember laying some across the back and in the fender wells. I didn't lay any on the floor pan of the t top area or the back panel where the lights mount. Figure I didn't need it there. I ran out of material to put any on the hatch itself. I...

Yes. You need it up in the air. The cradle can be dropped and slid out of the way if everything is disconnected. In a nutshell that would be the front wheels, lower ball joints, lower strut mounts, steering coupler, P/S hoses, motor mounts, any wire harness connectors (such as ABS), and the four...

:D Made it home around 10:30 last night. We left for Detroit a bit early in case of traffic or other issues. For us, "other issues" turned out to be driving rains and an accident on I-96 that re-routed us. My brother uses Waze as the navigator on his phone and I was impressed with how it...

Ed Love the avatar. If you don't plan on doing heavy mods like I have then the WS6 is good to go. If you plan on doing what I did then a non-WS6 (slick beak) bird is better and cheaper most of the time. I upgraded everything that made a WS6 for better parts so it would have been a waste of $$$...

Another member of the 98 club here too. Biggest worry on the 98's is the oil pump. 97-98 oil pumps don't like high rpms (above 6k) especially with high miles. Believe me I know this, it may or may not be the reason I have a 403 in mine now  If you do get it, a good mild...

The fingers should touch the slave a little. Not enough that they're pressing in more than an 1/8". Shims are mostly used to bring the slave closer to the fingers because of the aftermarket bell housings or clutch kits are slightly different then OEM depths. I have a QuickTime SFO BH and...

yeah i wasn't too happy about the price but that's the only place I can find it. Yeah fuel pumps are not fun. I tried lowering the tank for a couple of hours and the neck wouldn't clear. I have the metal tank. As much I didn't want to do it , I did the trap door. I'm glad i did. It takes about 20 mins to swap a pump out now. Did it just went bad or upgrading? Good luck with yours.
