    My first guess would also be a damaged body ground. Does it appear to be a stock wire type, or something that may have been added by a prior owner?     But in 1987, that was HUGE. Most cars in that era were sub-200 horsepower. You also have to take into account the torque those engines produced, I want to say around 355 lb.ft. Come on down to PA and you can drive my '87 Turbo Regal and form your own opinion. :D

    Knock on wood, nothing has gone bad on our car since we bought it in 2008. Granted, all the suspension pieces and such were upgraded through the years, but everything else is still working.

    The entire system consists of the pump, a hose to the diverter valve, a valve assembly with integral vacuum solenoid, two check valves on the pipes coming up from the exhaust manifolds, and two hoses that run from the diverter valve to the check valves.

    yeah well its all in the offset my old rims were 10.5 also but they didnt rub and when i got quoted on putting in the studs they wanted $150 at a tire shop but took it to a axle place and they quoted me at $10 per axle or $30 per axle if they had to drill but they did it for free since i was getting a new ring and pinion so if you want to upgrade to 3.73 or 4.10 gears you might as well do it now
