The wet state

Hey y'all. Newby from Washington.

Last car that I had played with was an 83 Datsun 280zx. I had attempted to build it by maintaining the original L6 motor (just with lots of mods). Well it was fun, but now it's a "was" fun. I sold it when I left Texas for the wet state. Now I'm considering another Datsun, but this time I'm looking for something to throw a couple of extra cyl's in; Maybe a 510. We'll see...

I guess that I should have explained a bit. By 510, I meant as a body. I'm looking to build something like a 510 or another Z car with some sort of un-natural power plant under the hood. That's where the LS1 comes in.

I don't know if this is the way that I am going to go or not yet, but I figured that this may be a place to learn a thing or two.

I've been a mechanic for most of my life (39 yrs), and am just looking for something different.

Thanks. I haven't decided if it going to be a 510; that's just a body style that I have always been interested in. It's really going to be decided on by what I find at the time.
