White- 1998 Z28 Camaro
Waddup.
Hello,
I'm just finding this site here, saw it listed on the side as sponsored sites for BMR suspension when I ordered all of my stuff.
I'm signed up on CamaroForums as the same username.
Here's the thread I have there for my car. I assume hot-linking is fine?
I'm the owner of a white, beaten down, 1998 Z28.
Rear end was wrecked, driveshaft wasn't even for the Camaro, tranny has some issues, interior and T-Tops needed some love.
Getting it done piece by piece. Got the suspension sorted out, as well as rear end now (diff was gone, bearings bad, ring and pinion were questionable, didn't have a girdle brace cover).
T-Tops we can't find new seals for, so we're going to have to figure it out on our own.
Probably going to try adding some extra gasket material from some that we bought that don't fit in the spots where it's leaking (outer corner on the drivers side and slightly on passenger).
Anyways, I'm here now as well.
Looking forward to browse through what information you guys already have posted up.
-edit-
I guess you can't post up hot-links as a new member. Oh well. If you're interested, my thread is under the 4th gen general section on Camaro Forums.

Soon as we get our next port stop (deployed right now), I'll try to get some of my older pictures up.
I'm amassing parts back home to my father so we can just dive into it, and not have to wait on anything to get in the mail.

Welcome to the site!
There are a couple of F-body specialty vendors. I believe NPD is actually selling some 4th gen stuff now (may even have T-top seals). Shop around and if you need some assistance please post up.
Thank you for your service!

Wasn't the classiest way to post a picture, but there you go.
Anyway, NPD only seems to carry older stuff for the 1st and 2nd gen Camaro, nothing else. Oh well.Last edited by Thefoodman52; 05-27-2016 at 03:39 PM.

Hmm. Let me check that, maybe I was thinking of Classic Industries and not NPD...

Sorry about that -- it was Classic Industries. I think this may be what you are looking for: 2002 Camaro Parts | CR3035 | 1993-02 Camaro / Firebird with T-Tops Reproduction Rubber Door Frame Weatherstrip | Classic Industries

I searched '02, rather than '98... so double check but it should be the same P/N.

Says they're sold out, don't think they're going to re-stock any time soon unfortunately as most places don't anyway these days for the 4th gen cars.

Bummer. I am trying to recall the name of the F-body vendor that sells new and used parts at Carlisle...
