pewter- 2000 corvette convertible
Trying to wake up a sleeping Giant
Owner of a 2000 Corvette convertible. Recently I changed all my fluids to Royal Purple, added a 180 degree thermostat, added performance plugs/wires, and finally installed a K&N cool aid induction system. I am now at the point of trying to decide how to get the most torque/hp out of my engine without adding headers/cams or things to that nature. I asked a performance shop and they told me I can have it dyno-tuned for $450 and this would yield much better results than the diablo or hypertech programmers.
Has anyone on this forum performed similar upgrades and if so what form of tuning did you have done to get the most out of your LS1?
Thanks
