    Hello, I used to be a member back in 99 or 00, have been hanging out on the other forum. Just thought I'd come back and hang out again. I'm a serious gearhead performance junkie who's had over 50 cars since 1990. My Fbody's have been: 1995 Formula 6 speed hardtop, 1995 Z28 6 speed hardtop (hence Redlinez), 1999 Z28 6 speed hardtop, 1999 Z28 6 speed ttop, bought that same 99 Z28 6 speed ttop car again, and now a 99 Trans Am 6 speed. My last one had Jethot longtubes, modified Hooker ORY, Borla, 224/228 581 581 112+2 XER, 4.10's, various poly bushings/mounts, Hypercoil springs, LS6 intake, Shaner ported TB, Pro 5.0, LS1 edit tuning, UDP, free mods, SLP lid/cold air, Patriot gold springs, etc, no weight redux. Was tuned on 87 octane, put down 392/373 before Shaner ported TB. I ran 12.0's @ 119 on DR's.
    My goal is to get my TA quicker/faster than that car, not to beat anyone in particular but my old self. I've been doing the part time drag racing thing since 1995. I'll try to lend help where I can, don't claim to be omnipotent or anything cocky like that. So far since buying my TA in February I have QTP longtubes, jacked up pacesetter Y, Magnaflow, Smokin87TA ported TB, poly driver side engine mount, MSD wires, TR55 plugs, Whisper lid, free mods. I have a cam, Patriot extremes, Trickflow pushrods, LS2 chain, and Summit UDP waiting to go in.

    Well, I can be the first to say that I am guilty of getting hung up on cam specs and thinking it's a decision that rivals the name of your first child when it really isnt. There's probably 10 hp difference between most. My hotcam'd first 99 Z ran 12.50's with no headers, factory cats and LS1 intake!!! This one is a Futral.
