OldmansTA returns from the dead...

I'm back. A veteran from the old days. Survived my operations for blocked carotid arteries, three heart stents, blocked kidney, blocked bladder. Just clogged up the whole dang system. But I'm still here, still have my '99 Trans AM and still ripping up the highways.

I'm taking delivery of a new Sky Redline tomorrow but I'm keeping my TA for old timesake. It's in better shape than me even with 122k on the clock.

You guys might even be able to diagnose my misfire at idle. I've changed the fuel filter and run a bottle of injector cleaner through it but it stil misfires at idle when hot and pulling off from a stop. Doubt it's anything serious since I just got back from West Virginia and tried a couple of runs from dead stop to 6200rpm redline through 1st and 2nd without a misfire. Any ideas what to check next?

I'm planning to install an RPi GT 3" into dual 2 1/2" into quad tips exhaust system and the RPi Stage 2 intercooler for the turbo. Should bring it up to 285HP. Not bad for a 2.0 litre 4 banger.

I doubt it will be as fast as my bone stock TA @ 13:46 ET but it surely will break into the 13's.
