New Trans Am owner from Louisiana

Hey guys, my name is Nick. I'm from Ponchatoula, Louisiana. This is my first Trans Am. I look forward to learning a lot here! I'm interested to know if my car is as rare as the previous owner stated it was; he didn't have any proof. Is there any way to check that? It's supposedly 1 of 11. It's a 2002 white WS6 convertible with white top and tan interior, 6 speed manual. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Welcome to the site, Nick and congrats on your first Trans Am! You can have your VIN checked and the codes on the sticker in your drivers side door jam will also tell you about your car.

Thanks! Now the only thing I'm still wondering about is the badge under the driver's side taillight that says "By Welty" I've searched all over and can't find what that might mean.
