This sure a beauty of a car. First question: why does the alarm go off when we unlock the car with the pod or key entry? The only time it doesn't is if we manually lock the car from the inside before shutting the door, not using the pod at all.

do you just mean the two beeps or whatever it is when you hit unlock?

The alarm
goes immediately after pushing the "unlock" button. We never the two beeps like on our other vehicles. Then we have to push the red "alarm" button to get it to shut off. Then the car will open.

hmm... wierd. have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then hookin it all back up and trying it out?

next time it does ... get in and shut the alarm off with the key , if you havent already... You may have to reset the system .. I know the alarm button on my T/A was very sensative ...
