New to site and wanted to say hello!

Hello all,

I just bought the car of my dreams from my high school days. A black 2000 trans am ws6 convertible. The car was stock and in very near mint condition with low miles. So far I have added a Borla exhaust and custom racing stripes. I love the car and cant stop looking at it. It is not a DD so I plan to do much more performance work to the car. Any recommendations? I cant wait to talk to others that appreciate these amazing F-body cars.

Welcome aboard!

First few things I would do "on top of the borla exhaust" is get her breathing a little better. Slp intake, some long tube headers, a tune, and a nice Y pipe should get you started. The long tubes will give you a nice little power bump and you'll have the ground work laid for bigger mods.

thanks for the advice. I am a newb and the more information I can get the better. I really appreciate it! I have been looking for this exact car for a while and I have a pretty decent budget to work with but I want to spend it wisely. My goal is not to have a DD but still keep it reliable. 500HP with once a week driving / drag strip would be what I am looking for. Thanks again for the advice!
