    New Ride - SS Vert (Photos)

    Recently picked up an '01 SS Vert and someone said I might want to join this site.

    My Name's Derek, I'm from Chattanooga, TN and I now live in Knoxville, TN.

    '01 Camaro SS Convertible
    LS1 V8 (346 ci)
    6-speed Manual
    Custom Comp Cam
    Long Tube Headers
    Lid and intake mods
    Underdrive pulleys
    Z06 Clutch
    GMMG Exhaust
    275/315s on ZR1 wheels.
    70K miles
    ~370 RWHP
















    In the past two years I have been racing in the SCCA Solo II events through the East Tennessee Region and I plan to do the same with this car. This car is a blast to drive! I love it so far. It does run rich and could use a tune (never tuned since the cam install). Unlike most gearheads, I don't plan to do much to the car right away. It's great the way it is and I just got engaged, so money is going to be tight for a while. Anyone else in the area?
