Hey everyone, I have a 1967 Camaro with a 5.3 Vortec engine and a single Magnum T70 turbo on it. TH350 transmission and a 8.5" rear end with 3.08 gears in it. I mainly just drag race this car at a local track that I can easily drive there and back with the car and it is all street cars racing at the event I go to. The best my car has run is 12.2 in the 1/4 mile and that was at 8psi, I'm looking to up the boost next year but I would like to get a roll bar in it first before I get too crazy with it. Here is a video of me racing it and an in-car camera view too:

Just upgraded the valve springs and studded the heads. I like the engine a lot, I can beat the snot out of it and it stays cool and runs great. With the stock cam in it the rpm doesn't go much over 6,000 rpm so the engine really isn't working too hard. But with the turbo the torque is really up there and makes it a really fun ride. Kind of like having a big block in there with out the weight or the over heating issues.

The 5.3 in our '07 Suburban made me a believer when we started pulling our loaded 7,000 lb. race trailer up and down the hills of northcentral PA. Runs out of wind at the top of a long pull, but does a pretty amazing job otherwise.
