    2002 Firebird Trans Am

    Greetings,

    I've just joined and am anxious to learn from and hopefully contribute to the LSx forums.

    My LS1 is a 2002 RA Trans Am that I purchased new in September, 2002 - my first new car since 1974. It's a black hatchback with auto transmission, Traction Control, 3.23 axle ratio, and CD changer (purchased separately about a year after buying the car).

    It's totally stock other than air, oil, and trans filters. It is driven only in the summer, but I put about 60 - 80 miles per day on it during that season.

    I'm a motorhead by birth and a mechanical engineer by training (I'm still practicing to get it right!).
