No not the electric hybrid

..Ne ways I'm a full time student/part time waiter still living at home even though I'm 19 (Dad's garage and tools are too good to leave for now). Because I live at home I have 3 cars at the moment (All of which I bought and pay insurance on).

My DD a pos 85 bmw 325e that somehow gets 32 mpg on the highway...
My original baby an 88 Rx7 turbo that I've managed to dump 20k into since I was 16...pushing ~360 rwhp
My new hybrid project, which is why I'm registered here:

a 71 Datsun 240z...I got tired of the smog bs in CA (Hence the name), so I bought my Z a few months ago. Anyways I don't have any bills since I paid for my insurance and cell phone bills for the whole year off

so I'm taking out a loan to put either an LS1 or LS2 into my Z. I'm having a hell of a time finding an LS2 w/ T-56 for anything less than 8 grand, so I'm pretty sure I'll go with an LS1...but I've heard a lot of stories of oil starvation and other random stuff about the earliet LS1's before 01? Doesn't matter, I'm registered to look up all the stories and get the facts about the motor so I can finally decide on what to do so I can get this Z up and running and finally sell/partout my baby (The Rx7).

The LQ4 swap has interested me as well, but ultimately what info I find on here will decide

I hope to find a lot of great info on this site and meeting people that I can learn from.
