new guy with a couple questions.

ok so dont get mad at me yet.. but i dont own a ls1 powerd car (yet) but i have some questions and this is the only place i could think of that might have them. but has anyone put a ls1 engine in a dodge dakota before?

i know i know i know its crossbreeding but chevy has the best power for the cheapest price. if you could let me know so im not alone otherwise ill be goin at this solo. thanks for reading.

Welcome! People are transplanting LS series motors into lots of things -- have not heard of a Dodge Dakota swap though.

well ok, my plans is to put a ls1 with an automatic transmission behind it with a custom made alum. drivshaft going into a ford 9 rear or a 03-04 mustang rear with the independent rear. all underneath a short bed 99 dakota sport.

im not road racing just looking to be as unique as possible without racking my brain on somthing too complicated. i figure chevy has the best engine, ford has the best rear end, and IMO dodge has the best looking mid size truck. so im putting them all together and on the back window its going to say "American Made".
