navy blue metallic- 1998 camaro ss vert
new girl
Hi, every one I'm new to this site and thought this would be a good place to learn about my baby. I have a 98 ss vert, nbm, z06 wheels, 17"front, 18's on the rear, eibach sportline 2" drop all the way around, smooth bellows, k&n filter. Nothin major done to it yet... tee hee hee. I am a 2x camaro owner, and am absolutely in love with my car. ok I'm not real good at this computer thing so i'm going to attempt to attach pictures. If it doesn't work I'll have to wait till the ol' man gets home. Can anyone tell me if my single exhaust is a factory option, i've never seen another ss with single exhaust. Thanx a bunch!

thanx, soooo where can I find out how rare or not rare my car is???? Is the single exhaust frowned upon? I kinda like it cuz no one else seems to have it.

My car came with the single pipe, hated it... Changed it quick for the L/M. When I had the single pipe on it people used to ask me if it was the 6 cyl with SS badges.

Nice drop top. Welcome to the site I'm the official mod for the site. Feel free to suck up to me at any time. LMAO... j/k
Have fun and if the guys get out of hand let us know. Lots of people here to learn from
Oh yeah, and about the exhaust tip I was thinking the same thing a V6 with SS kit. I'm not a single exhaust type of guy, but everyone is different if you like it then screw everyone else's opinion.

thanx firehawk, I haven't really decided fully how I feel about the exhaust yet. As for the boys... not a problem, I think I can handle them.

thanx phantom, likewise. as far as the exhaust is concerned I haven't made any serious decisions about it yet, I'd like to come up with something real original. Got a year to think about it can't afford it till then anyway.

as of now you are like me one of 43. there are a few 98 ss on here but the all have either different interior, or the top color is different. is your blck i can't remeber now if it is the 1 of 43.

yeah, I have black top, charcoal interior, and mine came painted silver zr1 wheels. switched over to the zo6's but I kept all my original stuff just in case 50 yrs. down the road it's worth something ya know. Is yours stick or auto? mine is auto, I don't know if that adds or decreases value, I personally prefer a stick but she gets up and scoots just fine.

it has 81k miles on it, it is my daily driver. It looks better in the pics than in person, it's a 2x repo. 1st owner let his highschool daughter drive it and she beat on it a little, 2nd owner loved it and kept it garaged, but he only got to drive it for a few months and he died. So, I am the 3rd and final owner and I do my best to take good care of her, paint is shot though hoping to repaint it next year. Same color of course. Yours looks beautiful! guess we are 2 of a kind you and I.
