New to the forums
Hi guys. I'm new to the forums and just wanted to introduce myself. I've been working on a old truck restoration, and I was planning on using an LS1 for the motor.
A few years back I bought a rolled 2000 Camaro Z28 for the swap. It only has 15,000 miles and a 6 speed tranny. The rest of the drivetrain and wiring also in good shape. My project has been put on hold for a while, and I'm trying to buy my first house in the next couple months. Because of this, I'm thinking about selling the car and/or the complete engine/tranny/wiring assembly to help make a down payment on my house. I have been "out of the scene" for a while, and I have no clue what this is worth these days. What do you guys think it would be worth?
Thanks for all your help.
Matt

Welcome to the site!
It all depends on if you find a buyer that really wants the truck/ls1 as
a package deal? Put a price that you want/need for it and post it on
Craigs list, see what happens. Start with a higher price and let them
work you down.
That is what I would do.

Oh, no I'm not trying to sell the truck too. I have the wrecked Z28 with engine/tranny still in it. I'd be willing to sell the car as-is, or just the motor/tranny etc. I just have no clue what the engine package is worth.
