    New from Connecticut

    Hello everyone. I may possibly be buying a 1999 Trans Am. There is more information I will need before I make a decision. Last year I picked up a car from someone my wife works with and now her sister is selling her T/A (Florida car) and asked my wife if I am interested in buying it. Well I am still waiting for pics, milage, price etc. All I know is it is a 6 speed convertible and I guess that is all I am privy to right now LOL. I am not new to cars I have owned a few and always wanted a WS6 but with this offer if I like it I may take it.
    I would like to know what possible problems I may want to look for? Any other useful information would be useful I will not go to Fl. to look at the car, since my wife and I both know the owner I will go by what she tells me.

    Welcome to the site. You might run a carfax on it, so get the VIN. Might also ask if regular maintenance has been done and if the owner has documentation of the maintenance.

    I am still waiting for pics and other info. Working with 3 women, the seller, her sister and my wife I bet if it were a pair of shoes it wouldn't take this long LOL.

    I did get 2 more bits of info. It is red with a black leather interior and a new black convertible top hopefully pics will be coming soon.
